Special Requirements in Venezuela

Unlike other countries in Latin America, in order to obtain a birth certificate from Venezuela, it is necessary to know the date when the birth was registered. Therefore, a birth certificate will include two different dates: the actual date of birth and the registration date. Without that information, it is quite difficult to locate a birth certificate. In cases like this, our team at InheritEstate can perform a broad search. This will guarantee the successful retrieval of said certificate.

Another very common request is the rectification of records and certificates, especially when they are outdated. By means of a power of attorney, our local team can handle this matter.

We offer a wide array of additional services at InheritEstate. For instance, notarization, apostille, legal translation, and rectification. In addition, the issuance of certified copies from any government office in Venezuela.

Inheritances in Venezuela are handled only by duly-certified attorneys, who are registered in the jurisdiction where the estate is located. 1. Hello, I am pursuing German citizenship by descent (Feststellung nach StAG) through my grandfather. I need two documents from Venezuela: (1) the 1953 Certified Birth Certificate for my father (2) a certified copy of the Venezuelan Gaceta Oficial in 1958 that proves the Venezuelan naturalization of my grandfather. Both documents will need to be apostilled. Is your firm able to help me obtain these documents and apostille? If so, what information you will need from me to be successful? I am not sure if my father has a Cédula, for example, but I can ask him (my father immigrated to the United States and was naturalized after I was born.)

  2. Hello, My wife is applying for a Green Card in the United States. They say she needs a copy of a Divorce decree from 1983. She was divorced in the Parish of Coquivacoa, in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Is this a record that would still be available?
